1. The agreement


Your agreement with us (“the agreement”) only comes into effect when we have received your signed booking form or telephone, fax or e-mail instructions together with your deposit and we have issued confirmation of your booking (either written or verbal). A deposit of 25 Euro per person is payable at the time of booking.

Payment of the balance must be made 28 days before the start of your holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and to apply cancellation charges.

2. Cancellation, substitution and change of booking by customer


If you have to cancel your holiday you must notify us immediately in writing. We will be entitled to charge cancellation charges expressed as a percentage of total holiday price on the following scale, to be calculated from the date on which we receive written notification.

> 28. days before journey = 10% of the journey-price (min. 25 Euro)

> 8. days before journey = 50% of the journey-price

> 1. day before journey = 90% of the journey-price

< 1 day or no show = 100% of the journey-price

There are no insurance included in the journey price.

Every booked customer can send a substitute customer if he informs us at least 3 days before the journey start in written.

CYCLING-HOLIDAYS.NET can veto against this substitute for important reasons. In this case the cancellation fees as described before are valid.

If a substitute customer replaces a booked customer the original contract stays untouched. For the change of booking we charge 25 Euro. For change of journey date or other changes we charge 25 Euro.

3. Service package


The service package is described in the valid CYCLING-HOLIDAYS.NET-prospect. No other descriptions, confirmations or promises by travel offices, hotel prospects or any other third party are part of the contract or the service package.

4. Liability and limitation of liability


CYCLING-HOLIDAYS.NET is liable as a proper merchant for the careful choice and supervision as well as for the correctness of the performance specifications. The participation in the offers is at its own risk.

Every journey participant is responsible that he is physically equal to the requirements of the journey.

The compliance with the Highway Code lies in the responsibility of the journey participant.

At every transport (Bus, Ship, Airplane, etc.) the rules and regulations of the transport company are valid. If there are any damages for which we or one of our partners are responsible the maximum refund is 3 times the price of the journey. If there is a damage or a lost of luggage we will take responsibility if we are responsible and we are informed about it immediately. We recommend you a journey safety package for these risks.

If a journey should be canceled for reasons, we can not influence or the minimum number of participants of eight should not be reached we reserve for us so to cancel the journey. In this case you are immediately informed about it and already paid amounts will be returned. There are not further claims.

5. Guarantee


The customer can ask for remedy if the journey not as stipulated in the contract. What is stipulated in the contract is set by the service description and the habits of the destination of the journey. CYCLING-HOLIDAYS.NET can refuse to remedy if the expenditure of the remedy is excessively high. It is possible to do the remedy with equal or higher compensation. The customer can decline such a compensation only for an important, objectively recognizable reason.

The demand of remedy has to be addressed directly to us or our representative in the destination. The representative in the destination can not acknowledge any claim. For the duration of the provision not as stipulated in the contract the customer can claim for a refund after the journey. All claims must be made till at least one month after the end of the journey.

6. Mitwirkungspflicht


If the customer does not receive the traveling documents in time he has to contact CYCLING-HOLIDAYS.NET.

The customer is particularly obliged to inform about his complaints immediately. If the customer refrains to announce a defect a claim to reduction does not enter so.

7. Other


The customer is alone responsible for the compliance to passport, Visa, custom and health regulations.

We must reserve changes of prices and performances for us, as well as the correction of mistakes and misprints.

The ineffectiveness of single terms of the journey contract does not have the ineffectiveness of the complete contract the consequence.

Place of jurisdiction is headquarters of the organizer.
